Story
Traveling and tasting food are the foundation of Carol’s culinary education. Her love for food and the NNK is evident by reading her menus. Having grown up in the NNK, Carol has firsthand knowledge of how hard farmers, watermen, and others work to provide the food that is unique to our area. Seasonally available local ingredients inspire her.
Patrons often remark about their experience. They feel like they are in a restaurant in a big city and are so happy to be able to enjoy the same quality in a small town.
She is grateful for her family and friends who have been there to help her. Running a restaurant is hard work, but the reward of nourishing her clients, friends, and family makes it worth it. She is very proud of Relish’s growth and she feels fortunate for her community.
